How deep can ancestry research go?
For Russian rural families — usually 6–8 generations (early 1700s). For nobility and clergy — sometimes to the 16th century via heraldic archives. For Western European roots — depends on the country, often 1600s–1500s.
How long does a typical project take?
«First Step» takes 2–3 weeks. Genealogical assessment — 6 months. Full multi-generation research — 6–18 months. VIP packages — up to 36 months for the deepest tier.
Do you work with international clients?
Yes — we have English-speaking specialists. Most consultations are by Zoom. Final artefacts (books, trees) ship worldwide.
What if you can't find anything?
In case of an unavoidable dead end (archives lost to fire or war, vital records destroyed), we return the unused portion of the fee and provide a written report of the search routes attempted. Full guarantee terms are in the contract.
Are instalment payments possible?
Yes — up to 12 months, no surcharge. Typical schedule: 30% upfront, 30% after archive research, 40% on final delivery. Custom schedules available.
Will my data stay confidential?
Absolutely. NDA with every staff member, secure storage, results delivered only to you. No third-party disclosures.
Can I get my project as a digital archive only?
Yes. Many clients prefer the full digital package (PDFs, scans, family tree as image and editable file) without printed artefacts. Pricing is lower.
Do you work with adoption-related searches?
Yes — finding biological parents and biological siblings for adoptees is one of our specialised services. We use civil registries, archival research, public databases and DNA testing.
Can family research help with citizenship by descent?
Yes — and this is one of our most common B2B-style cases. We document the lineage required for Polish, German, Israeli, Lithuanian, Latvian and other citizenship-by-descent applications.
What payment methods do you accept?
Bank cards, instant payments (SBP), bank transfer for individuals, full corporate billing with closing documents for legal entities. International transfers possible.
Can a third party commission research as a gift?
Yes. The gift certificate is the cleanest way — three nominal tiers, branded packaging, delivery across Russia and internationally on request. The recipient activates by contacting us.
What if the archives are abroad?
We work directly with archives in 19 countries — Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Poland, Germany, Baltic states, Israel, USA, Canada and more. For other countries we use verified local research partners.
