Our team works in 19 countries: federal, regional, departmental, and church archives. Every two weeks you get a progress report with findings and scans.
6–18 monthsWriting & layout
A literary editor writes the narrative; a historian fact-checks; you read drafts and give feedback. The report becomes a 200–400 page book.

How deep can you go?
For Russian rural families: typically 6–8 generations (early 1700s) — limited by surviving metric books. For nobility or clergy: deeper, sometimes to the 16th century. For Western European roots: depends on the country, often 1600s–1500s.
Do you work internationally?
Yes. Archives in 19 countries directly, more through partners. Strong in Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Poland, Germany, Baltic states, Israel. English-speaking specialists for international clients.
What if you find nothing?
In case of an unavoidable dead end (archive destroyed by fire or war), we return the unused portion of the fee and provide a written report on the search routes attempted. Full guarantee terms are in the contract.
Can you handle a rush deadline?
Sometimes — for an upcoming anniversary, an inheritance case, or a citizenship application. Tell us the deadline at the intake call and we'll see what's feasible.
Do you offer instalment payments?
Yes. The typical schedule is 30% upfront, 30% after archive research, 40% on final delivery. Custom schedules are possible.
