Policy on the processing of personal data

1. General provisions

This personal data processing policy has been drawn up in accordance with the requirements of Federal Law No. 152-FZ of 27 July 2006 “On Personal Data” and sets out the procedure for processing personal data and the measures taken to protect them by the genealogy centre Family Relic (hereinafter — the Operator).

The Operator considers it a primary objective and a condition of its activity to respect human and civil rights and freedoms when processing personal data, including the protection of the rights to privacy and to personal and family confidentiality.

This policy of the Operator on the processing of personal data (hereinafter — the Policy) applies to all information that the Operator may obtain about visitors to the website myrodoslovie.ru.

2. Key terms used in the Policy

Automated processing of personal data — processing of personal data by means of computing equipment.

Blocking of personal data — a temporary halt to the processing of personal data (other than where processing is needed to clarify the data).

Website — the set of graphical and informational materials, computer programmes and databases that make them accessible on the internet at myrodoslovie.ru.

Personal data information system — the body of personal data held in databases together with the information technologies and technical means that process them.

Depersonalisation of personal data — actions which make it impossible, without additional information, to attribute personal data to a specific User or other data subject.

Processing of personal data — any action or set of actions, performed with or without the use of automation, in relation to personal data, including collection, recording, organisation, accumulation, storage, refinement (updating, alteration), retrieval, use, transfer (distribution, provision, access), depersonalisation, blocking, deletion and destruction.

Operator — a state body, municipal body, legal entity or natural person that organises and/or carries out the processing of personal data, alone or together with others, and determines the purposes of processing, the categories of personal data to be processed and the actions performed with that data.

Personal data — any information relating directly or indirectly to a specific or identifiable User of the website myrodoslovie.ru.

User — any visitor to the website myrodoslovie.ru.

Provision of personal data — actions aimed at disclosing personal data to a specific person or a defined group of persons.

Distribution of personal data — any actions aimed at disclosing personal data to an indeterminate group of persons (transfer of personal data) or at making personal data available to an unlimited group, including publication in the media, placement on information and telecommunication networks, or otherwise making the data accessible.

Cross-border transfer of personal data — transfer of personal data to the territory of a foreign state, to a foreign state authority, foreign natural person or foreign legal entity.

Destruction of personal data — any actions which permanently destroy personal data, making subsequent restoration of their content impossible, and/or which destroy the physical media holding the personal data.

3. Categories of personal data the Operator may process

Surname, given name and patronymic.

Email address.

Telephone numbers.

The website also collects and processes depersonalised data about visitors (including cookies) via web analytics services such as Yandex Metrica and Google Analytics.

These data are referred to below as Personal Data.

4. Purposes of processing personal data

The purpose of processing the User’s personal data is to inform the User by email and to confirm contact details for a call back from one of our specialists.

The Operator may also send the User notifications about new products and services, special offers and various events. The User can opt out of marketing messages at any time by writing to info@myrodoslovie.ru

with the subject line “Opt-out of notifications about new products, services and special offers”.

Depersonalised data gathered through web analytics services serve to record User activity on the website and improve its quality and content.

5. Legal basis for processing personal data

The Operator processes the User’s personal data only where the User has filled in and/or submitted the relevant forms on myrodoslovie.ru of their own accord.

By filling in such forms and/or submitting personal data to the Operator, the User indicates their consent to this Policy.

The Operator processes depersonalised data about the User where the User’s browser settings permit it (cookies enabled and JavaScript active).

6. Procedure for collection, storage, transfer and other processing of personal data

The security of personal data processed by the Operator is ensured by legal, organisational and technical measures necessary to meet, in full, the requirements of the legislation on personal data protection currently in force.

The Operator preserves personal data and takes all reasonable steps to prevent unauthorised access.

The User’s personal data will not be transferred to third parties under any circumstances, save where required by law.

If inaccuracies in the personal data are found, the User can update them directly by sending an email to the Operator at info@myrodoslovie.ru

with the subject line “Personal data update”.

The processing period is unlimited. The User may withdraw consent to the processing of their personal data at any time by sending an email to info@myrodoslovie.ru

with the subject line “Withdrawal of consent to the processing of personal data”.

7. Cross-border transfer of personal data

Before carrying out any cross-border transfer of personal data, the Operator is obliged to verify that the foreign state to which the data are to be transferred provides reliable protection of the rights of data subjects.

A cross-border transfer to states that do not meet these requirements may only be carried out with the written consent of the data subject and/or for the performance of a contract to which the subject is party.

8. Final provisions

The User may obtain clarification on any matter relating to the processing of their personal data by contacting the Operator at info@myrodoslovie.ru.

Any changes to the Operator’s personal data policy will be reflected in this document. The Policy remains in force until replaced by a new version.
