A detailed life-story of one ancestor

A focused biographical study of a single ancestor — instead of broad family research. We reconstruct their education, profession, military service, marriages, emigration, daily life. Where the standard pedigree leaves gaps, this fills them.

Common questions

When does this make sense?

When you already have a family tree but want to bring one ancestor — a great-grandfather, an emigrating relative, a participant in major events — to life with full context.

How is it different from biography in a family book?

A family book has 1–2 pages per ancestor. This study can be 50–200 pages on one person, with archival deep dives a broad pedigree simply can't accommodate.

Do you cover obscure sources?

Yes — university enrolment ledgers, employment booklets, factory archives, ship manifests, foreign-language press, court records. The unusual sources are what makes a single-person study rewarding.
